Founded in September 2001, learnpurple transforms organisations through their people; enabling them to become great places to work, lowering labour turnover and increasing productivity and therefore the bottom line.

Relying on word of mouth to acquire new business, in 2011 it was agreed a marketing function should be created and invested in.

A marketing manager was appointed who, with the support of the directors:

• Created a clear marketing plan; focusing on only working with like-minded, people-savvy, entrepreneurial businesses.

• Redesigned the website; streamlining navigation and eCommerce; increasing unique visitors by 30%.

• Designed a subscribed for monthly bulletin; which now has 650 members because of its supportive, advisory nature.

• Increased PR coverage by 470% - a key driver of new business enquiries.
